King of Tyre
Satan has acquired many names in the Bible. Tyre was a pagan city on the Mediterranean Sea. This city and its kings had a lot of similarities to Satan: pride and a hunger for power and beauty. God made this connection in symbolic language through the prophet Isaiah.
