Sanctuary

Definition

Key Texts:

Now of the things which we have spoken this is the sum: We have such an high priest, who is set on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens; A minister of the sanctuary, and of the true tabernacle, which the Lord pitched, and not man. For if he were on earth, he should not be a priest, seeing that there are priests that offer gifts according to the law: Who serve unto the example and shadow of heavenly things, as Moses was admonished of God when he was about to make the tabernacle: for, "See", saith he, "that thou make all things according to the pattern shewed to thee in the mount." Which was a figure for the time then present, in which were offered both gifts and sacrifices, that could not make him that did the service perfect, as pertaining to the conscience; For the law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers thereunto perfect. But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building; Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.

Guest Presentations:

Contact Word SightDoug Batchelor was the rebellious son of a millionaire father and show business mother. By the end of he 9th grade, he had been in 14 different schools and several jails.
At the age of 16, Doug left his life of money, crime and drugs and traveled in search of purpose and happiness. His journey ended when he found a Bible someone left in a cave, high in some remote mountains. As Doug studied the Scriptures, his life was dramatically transformed.

Now Doug is an internationally known pastor and Bible lecturer. He sprinkles practical down to earth teaching with spontaneous humor that infuses ancient Bible truth with new life. You will marvel as difficult Bible prophecies become clear and confusing passages are made plain.

A Heavenly Model; A small model of His actual dwelling place in heaven was to serve as object lesson to the whole world of God's plan to save us from sin.
