Eglon

Eglon was an overweight Moabite king who reigned during the period of the judges. With the backing of the Ammonites and the Amalekites he invaded the land of Israel and captured the area around Jericho. He extracted tribute from the Israelites for 18 years. Then the Lord raised up Ehud to deliver His people. Ehud stabbed Eglon in the belly with a dagger and killed him. See Judges 3:12-25.
