Eliezer

Eliezer is a Hebrew name meaning, "help of God." He was from Damascus and Abraham's chief servant. If Abraham had never had a son Eliezer he would have become his heir.

He is mentioned in Genesis 15:2; Acts 7:8-16; Romans 9:11-13; and Hebrews 11:9, 20-21.
