King Arad of Canaan


The King of Canaan was the ruler of a city in the southern wilderness of Judah. The inhabitants fought against the Israelites at Mount Hor but were defeated by Joshua. The city was situated about 32 kilometers south of Hebron. The site today is Tell Arad. See Joshua 12:14.
