Naphtali

Naphtali was the sixth son of Jacob and the second son of Rachel's maid Bilhah. Rachel claimed him as an offspring and named him "my wrestling" in reference to her not have a child and her sister Leah already having four sons. She felt like she had finally prevailed against her sister. At his deathbed blessing of his sons he said, "Naphtali is a hind let loose, that bears comely fawns." Centuries later the tribe of Naphtali was given extensive lands stretching from the Jezreel valley and the Sea of Galilee to the northern border.

Read about Naphtali in Genesis 30:8; 35:25; 46:24; 49:21; Exodus 1:4; Deuteronomy 33:23; 1 Chronicles 2:2; and 7:13.
